About Us

Transmesa was founded in 1944 by Eduard Vicens Masgoret. The company's activities have always involved the cold lamination of steel tubes, beginning with straight draw benches and later progressing to continuous benches. We became part of the Slovakian group Železiarne Podbrezová a.s. (www.steeltube.sk) in July 2008, a manufacturer of steel blooms and billets, hot rolled seamless tubes, cold drawn precision tubes, tubular fittings and tube cuts and bends.
